Our Story

In 1997, my father, V.K. Selvaraj, embarked on a culinary adventure, founding his own appalam business. Appalam, often referred to as papadum, is a cherished Indian crispy flatbread made from urud flour and an enticing blend of spices. Inspired by the rich tradition and widespread fondness for this Indian snack, he courageously launched the venture, driven by a desire to bring the genuine essence of appalam to a wider audience.

This endeavor was significantly bolstered by my grandfather, Krishnappan, who provided invaluable guidance and support to my father during the inception of the business. Today, I, Nithin Anandh, proudly continue the legacy, having taken the reins of this cherished family business from my father, V.K. Selvaraj. Building upon his passion and dedication, I strive to uphold the tradition of delivering high-quality, flavorsome appalams while embracing innovation and meeting the evolving tastes of our valued customers.
